Great value, comfy bed, large room with L-shaped lounge, desk space, excellent breakfast included
Bit of road noise and pity about a neighbour's dog constantly barking, not the hotel's fault
good room size
long wait to get dinner order taken.
Nice pool area
Our room 314 was a long way from the car park to get our suit cases and other gear to was exhausting. The carpet in this room needed a good steam clean stains ect A lounge pillow had fresh blood stains on it I rang reception at 7.00pm got no answer so put the pillow next to rubbish bin in the room. Shower had black scum stains around the front of the base. When we booked breakfest was included when I checked in I was told it was not included and had to show my email confirmation to get it included.
The design and layout was well thought through. I like that the banks of rooms are not on top of one another and there is plenty of space. Having dining/reception separate from the accommodation works well. The gardens are attractive and the hotel has a nice total appeal.
Can't think of anything.
It's location and the relaxed comfortable atmosphere.
too quiet, boring area.. you dont have enough staff to look after you.. only one restaurant..not much to offer..
Very pleasant surroundings, attractive clean room, very nice staff & breakfast offering fresh & scrumptious
We were not impressed by this hotel at all
When we made the booking, breakfast was supposed to be included, but the hotel said it wasn't. No television reception for the whole visit, carpets badly stained in room.
I liked the lounge facing the large TV. The beds were very comfortable.
I felt the bath was very dangerous. The bath is a lot higher than the bathroom floor, subsequently when getting out of the bath which is naturally wet it becomes very slippery and easy to lose your balance as you have to step down further than the level of the base of the bath to reach the floor. Both my friend and I noticed and commented on this as we both nearly had a mishap. There was only water in the mini bar? I found that unusual.
The sea. Big breakfast. Big and comfortable room. Good facilities.
No WiFi in the room although this was advertised. WiFi only available in the conference room and only the staff were available in day time or actually knew if this was possible. Some confusion on day 2 on whether we could use the WiFi at all. Finally told there was broadband in the room as we were checking out. Strange given this seemed to be a conference/business type of hotel. Availability of WiFi was a major reason for our choosing a hotel.
Superb rooms and a very good restaurant
No foxtel in rooms
The performing artist Paul Robert Burton, the restaurant and restaurant staff.
Did not have a working tv. Hotel left a note in the room of the problem. Not compensation. Not good enough.
Location was great. It was quiet, relaxing and an enjoyable stay.
Because of health reasons, I found the stairs and the slope of the land a little confronting. But that is more my problem and I am sure that nearly all other guests would not have a problem.
Efficient staff. Easy room access.
Poor lighting in bathroom makes it difficult to apply makeup which had to be done sitting on the bed which is too close to the full mirror.
Clean and comfortable.
Restaurant advertised as award winning, I don't think so, poor wine list also.
